Indian Premier League 2023: In the 16th season of IPL, where nothing has gone right for Delhi Capitals (DC) on one hand, now the team has suffered another major setback. In fact, Kamlesh Nagerkoti, the important fast bowler of the team, has been ruled out of the entire season due to back injury. Kamlesh’s name has also been added to the list of injured players to be dropped in this season of IPL.
So far this season has not gone well for the Delhi Capitals team. The team has faced defeat in all the 5 matches played so far, in order to remain in the race for the playoffs, the Delhi team will have to show a much better game in the next 9 matches. Kamlesh had not yet got a chance to play a single match this season and the team expected him to be fit.
Kamlesh Nagerkoti could have played a very important role in fast bowling for the team. Kamlesh, 23, has played 12 IPL matches so far, in which he may have taken 5 wickets at an average of 57, but the speed of his balls definitely impressed everyone.
Delhi’s next match against Kolkata
Nothing has gone right for the Delhi Capitals team so far this season. Except captain David Warner from the team, no other batsman has been able to show a better game. Even in bowling, the team has appeared completely dependent on Akshar Patel or Enrique Norkhia. In such a situation, it will not be an easy task for him to return in the remaining matches of the season. Delhi Capitals have to play their 6th league match this season against Kolkata Knight Riders at their home ground.
